Introduction OKRs

There are numerous articles dealing with OKRs - Objectives and Key Results. In the meantime, the OKR Framework has gained acceptance in many IT companies. Originally, the OKR-Method was developed by Andy Grove at Intel as an evolutionary step or even revolution to Management by Objectives (MBOs). Through Google, the OKR method then really caught on in 2013.

Definition Objectives and Key Results — OKRs:

The Objectives and Key Results method (OKR method) is designed to formulate and implement goals throughout the company (including both employees and managers). On the one hand, the method combines top-down specifications from management and leadership with bottom-up planning from employees in teams. It allows employees to work in a motivated, goal-oriented and self-organized manner with individual freedom.
