Phases and Phase Gates of AI Projects when executing an AI Strategy

In the last article, we discussed different types of AI strategies. We found that a combination or mixed strategy is the best approach for larger organizations because there are many tasks that AI can automate. Still, for some other, more complex processes and tasks, an AI augmentation strategy is a better approach because you also include human power to the equation. The advantage of AI augmentation strategies is that the human factor stays in focus, which builds trust within the organization and speeds up the AI adoption. But to implement these AI solutions, you have to understand the different (6) major steps an AI strategy consists of and the different phases each AI project runs through, as well as why phase gates are important.

In addition to the different types of AI strategies, there is an overall 6-step AI Strategy process to define and execute your AI Strategy.
