Introduction
In theory, the role of the Scrum Master is very much characterized by process topics. The Scrum Master is supposed to take care of the efficiency of the team. Keep the team and the Scrum process efficient and help the team and the organization to better understand the Scrum process and the agile mindset. So, in theory, the Scrum Master becomes the guardian of the process. At the same time, he should also coach the team and help the team to remove impediments. All of this is true in theory but only focusing on these things, it leads to a bad outcome. This is probably also the reason why Scrum Masters often get frustrated in practice and Scrum teams degenerate into feature factories. The reason for this frustration is that the focus of the Scrum Master is wrong, and the theory leads the Scrum Team off track. The Scrum process is important, but comes second.
